Hardly any haircut is currently as popular as the bob. However, it now comes as a pob. You can now find out which hairstyle is behind the term.
Inspired by the French garçon cut of the 20s, the bob has become indispensable these days. More and more women are deciding to leave their hair behind and are switching to THE trend hairstyle of the year. For good reason: the bob is one of the most changeable hairstyles we have on our radar. Our current favorite: the pob! The term pob means nothing else than the amalgamation of the words “pony” and “bob” – in short: pob. In our gallery you can see how much the Pob can be varied and which celebrity ladies are already wearing it.
Pob: The trend hairstyle is so versatile
- Short bob with bangs
Bob wearers with narrow faces should and are allowed to switch to the short bob with bangs from now on! Ella Balinska is already wearing it and looks great with it! The pony can end a few centimeters above the eyebrow. The only catch: regular trimming is a must.
- Wavy bob with bangs
One of our favorite looks – when it comes to bob hairstyles – is the wavy bob. Soft waves flatter the bob and give it an informal character. In combination with a pony, the wavy bob gets a playful upgrade. Another idea: Let the pony “undone” fall on your face – that’s how Heike Makatsch wears the pob too.
- Page cut
A page cut like the one Kat Graham or Anna Wintour wear is timeless and stylish at the same time. When it comes to the page cut, it is important that the bangs are cut straight and that the sides are accurately aligned. The page cut goes particularly well with oval or heart-shaped faces.
